Hello Everyone,

**Reminder we are collecting winter coats, pants, boots, and gloves for "Jacket Racket!" Please feel free to bring any unused items in for donation.

This morning we had a big number talk using the book "How much is a Million?" by David M. Schwartz. Students answered questions such as, "What would you like to have, make, find or eat a million of?" Or "What do we have a million of in this school?" Then we talked about just how far a million of something could go. What surprised kids the most was just how long it would take to count from one to one million, which is 23 days without eating or sleeping!!

In gym we played some floor hockey games. We are working on passing to our teammates and stick handling.

In the afternoon Ms. Russell taught us how to get on Google Docs and we did a social studies activity where answered questions about what a typical day looks like for us. For example, the time I wake up, what I have for breakfast, how I get to school, and what activities I do in the evening. Next, we will be long at a typical day for a child in another country to compare.

Have a great afternoon,

Ms. Russell
