October 30, 2018

Hello Everyone,

**Reminder tomorrow is the Halloween Parade at 10:30am! Feel free to wear your costumes! Please no weapons!

This morning we learned about symmetry in math. Symmetry is when both sides of an object are the same or a mirror image of each other. Then we did some symmetry art using pumpkin faces!

We had a fire drill today!

In writing we brainstormed some "Halloween" vocabulary. Then Ms. Russell read us some Halloween poems and we wrote our own using the vocabulary.

This afternoon we played "Laser Lines" and "Floor Hockey" in gym.

In science we learned about the Anvil and the Stirrup. Did you know the stirrup is the smallest bone in the human body?

For French today we talked about the days of the week! I should be practicing these at home!
Lundi - Monday
Mardi - Tuesday
Mercredi - Wednesday
Jeudi - Thursday
Vendredi - Friday
Samedi - Saturday
Dimanche - Sunday

Have a great afternoon!

Ms. Russell
