**Reminder NO SCHOOL on Monday October 8th.
This morning we worked on "Mathletics" on Numbers, Patterns, and Addition and Subtraction strategies. Some kids finished up their Smile art and quote and others finished their Terry Fox drawings.
Ms. Russell read us a couple of math stories about numbers and actual size. One was called, "A Place for Zero," and the other one was called, "Actual Size." She also taught us a new math game for practicing our addition, subtraction, and multiplication. It's called "I Love Math" and it's like "Rock, Paper, Scissors." Please ask me to teach it to you!
In gym we played "rock, paper scissors" tag and "Tails!"
We finished our day with a Magic School Bus video about Vibration and Sound.
